Studies in Communication Sciences (SComS) is an international journal of communication research that is jointly edited by the Swiss Association of Communication and Media Research (SACM) and the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI Lugano). SComS is published twice a year and contains articles in four languages: English, French, German and Italian. In 2007, SComS and Medienwissenschaft Schweiz have been consolidated into a single journal. Since 2017, the journal is fully open access to both the authors and readers.
