Swiss Journal of Sociocultural Anthropology = Revue suisse d'anthropologie sociale et culturelle = Schweizerische Zeitschrift für Sozial- und Kulturanthropologie
Ethnologica Helvetica has been published from 1979-1997 by the Swiss Ethnological Society. The journal intends to provide information on fields of work, problems and working methods in ethnology and at the same time to give a picture of ethnology in Switzerland. The volumes in this series are aimed first and foremost at ethnologists, but beyond that at all those interested in the ethnological study of people and cultures, among them in particular journalists, teachers and staff at development cooperation organisations.
Tsantsa is the peer-reviewed, open-access journal of the Swiss Anthropological Association, dedicated to current issues and debates in anthropology. It was established in 1996. The online edition is published by Bern Open Publishing, the print issue is published by Seismo Press.
Tsantsa publishes ethnographically and theoretically grounded contributions on current issues and debates in social anthropology. It is dedicated to the development and critical discussion of novel theorisations of anthropological concepts. As a tri-lingual journal with articles in English, French and German, it seeks to strengthen the dialogue between different theoretical strands and scholarly traditions. Its wide thematic scope encourages conversations across the discipline and between the various subfields of anthropology. Tsantsa publishes original research articles, contributions in audio-visual anthropology, shorter essays about on-going research, as well as book and film reviews.
